Data is transmitted between clients and servers through the network. Networks consist of various network devices and communication lines connecting clients and servers globally. Network devices include routers, switches, firewalls, etc., which coordinate the flow of data. Communication lines can be wired, such as Ethernet cables, fiber optics, etc., or wireless, such as Wi-Fi, mobile networks, etc. Regardless of whether the transmission is wired or wireless, data is divided into small packets during the transmission process and transferred through network devices.

Interaction between clients and servers in the network is based on requests and responses. Clients send requests to servers, which include the required resources and operations, such as accessing webpage URLs, sending emails to recipients, etc. Servers receive these requests, provide the corresponding services based on them, and return the results to the clients. Clients can then perform corresponding operations based on the server’s response.
